Author profile: the prolific and versatile Bryan Alaspa

Today we're pleased to introduce you to Bryan W. Alaspa, Chicago-based author of thrillers, true-crime, horror, mystery, and detective stories! 

Bryan has been writing since third grade, when he sat down at his mother's electric typewriter to pound out his first story: a 3-page nightmare known as Jaws, Jr.

"Yeah, I was kind of obsessed with sharks," Brian notes.

• His latest book: Sabotage: A Chronicle of the Chesterton Crash - a true story, true crime/history book I published myself this summer. 
• His next book: The hard-boiled detective story "Deklan Falls: One Against Many" was released in August 2012 for Kindle. 

Bryan offered his Deklan Falls available for free in mid-August, as a way of saying thanks to all of his Kindle fans who have helped make his writing dreams come true.
