From pet books to thrillers: meet prolific author Amy Shojai!

Continuing in our series of profiling authors who are members of KindleBoards, today we introduce you to the versatile Amy Shojai. A certified animal behavior consultant, Amy has 24 published pet books. She's also a regular blogger and podcaster, and has been featured in national telecasts and magazines.

As Amy says, she's been re-inventing herself for years, and she's about to release her debut thriller. Animal-related, of course!

Amy brought her "back list" published books to new life on Kindle - and her book Complete Kitten Care continues to stay in the top 10 cat book titles on both Kindle and Print lists. She is also a contributor to numerous pet-related books in the "Chicken Soup" series.

Her debut thriller will launch first on Kindle on September 20, published by Bob Mayer's Cool Gus Publishing/Who Dares Wins.

Amy blogs at the Bling, Bitches & Blood Blog, and also is the Puppies Guide at puppies.About.com, the cat behavior expert at cats.About.com, and hosts a weekly half hour Internet Pet Peeves radio show.

Amy has been featured as an expert in numerous print venues including The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, and Family Circle, as well as national radio and television networks such as CNN, Animal Planet’s DOGS 101 and CATS 101. She’s been a consultant to the pet products industry and a host/program consultant for select “furry”  TV projects. Amy brings her unique pet-centric viewpoint to public appearances, writer conferences keynotes/seminars and thriller fiction (including pet “voice”).

You can view all of Amy's titles on her Amazon author page. Thanks for being part of our Kindleboards community, Amy!
