The Devil's Serum (Ramblings of the Damned Book One), by Ashliegh Wolfgang. (Still free?)Here's a quick (35-page) novella. Give this horror short story a try for free today!
"I am not usually a fan of short stories and admittedly at times I did find the pace of Ashliegh Wolfgang's storytelling rushed, and I wanted him to elaborate. However, the first person narration was an excellent choice for this story - as I felt that it allowed the reader greater access into the thoughts and feelings of Christian - particularly his love for Corrine and his fear after drinking the serum. Ashliegh Wolfgang cleverly writes a for a paranormal audience and a romantic one - the relationship he explores between Christian and Corinne is a strong one, whilst the paranormal threads are unusual, yet they both have alarming and harmful consequences. I will definitely be looking out for more of Ashliegh Wolfgang's books and I would recommend this story, especially to someone who is looking for a quick read - however there is grit, emotion and heart here! Be warned!" -- KristyV, Amazon reviewer

The Kronos Interference, by Edward Miller. (Still $0.99?)We're excited about today's bargain book: a 360-page, highly-rated time travel thriller!
"The historical data was spot on and the characters were well developed. While there have been many stories and shows about traveling back in time to kill Hitler, the spin on this one was original and kept me interested.
"What I really enjoyed was just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next the authors threw a curve at you and definately kept you guessing. I look forward to seeing what the next books these authors put out. For a debut novel I was definitely impressed.
"If you are a fan of Science Fiction, Time Travel or just a feel good story..I highly recommend The Kronos Interference. " -- Survivor Stu, Amazon reviewer
"In this time-travel thriller, debut authors Miller and Manas spin a clever, original variation on a classic alternative history premise... The prose is unfussy, the pacing appropriately brisk, and the past and future sequences show the authors' admirable imaginative gifts... impressively original."
