  2. Vile, Book 8 0f Debra Webb’s Faces of Evil series, is a riveting, thrilling, and worth every second!
Compelling Romantic Suspense always is expected in the Faces of Evil series but, in Vile, Debra Webb raises the bar. While investigating the case of a little girl left for her and the bizarre developments that ensue as a result, Jess Harris, the Deputy Chief Deputy of the Birmingham SPU Unit, remains vigilant about Eric Spears, the sociopathic serial killer obsessed with her. He is intent on destroying everyone Jess loves, including Chief of Police, Dan Burnett, the man she has loved for twenty years even though they have not been together during that time. He is also the father of their baby! By the end of Ruthless, you will be happily depleted but eager for the next book, Heinous. Yes, Vile is that good!

  4. It is hard to believe that this series has only 3 more parts. Vile opened more intrigue with introducing the lost little girl. I want each book faster and faster but know once the series is done I will still want more.

  11. Hi Debra,

  12. I am an avid fan of all of the FACES OF EVIL #1 - #8 and found VILE grabbed the reader, whether a first time reader of the series or long time fan such as myself, and moved us through the story with suspense building from the first page to the last page. The pace of the story is so fast you don't have time to think about what has happened in the past. So much is happening to Jess, Dan and Jess's team the reader is spell bound. When you turn the last page and want to read number nine you are driven to go back and read the first seven to refresh your memory on why Webb has name the series FACES OF EVIL. The new fan is hooked and will want to know everything about the lives of Jess and Dan.
