When Private Military Contractor Zeb Carter witnesses gruesome crimes in the Congo, he can't just walk away.

Plagued by the scale of the crimes and the helplessness of the victims, he is bent on his own private justice. With Broker by his side, a maverick intelligence analyst, Zeb soon realizes that this time he has come up against an adversary who is utterly ruthless...and perhaps more than a match for him.

What transpires is a fast pace gripping journey that stretches from the Congo to New York, into the world of corrupt politics, influential politicians who want him dead, and government agencies who are against him.

This breakneck paced read is an edge-of-your-seat, exothermic thrill machine, with a plot so full of surprises it will carry your imagination long beyond the final word.

Reviews:

Ty Patterson "The Warrior" is a true page-turners, so exciting and well written. I have read all the greats such as Brad Thor, Lee Child and Vince Flynn thriller series, so feel I know great thriller writer when I read one. I believe Ty Patterson is the next up and coming thriller writer. If you like Brad, Lee and Vince Flynn books your going to love this one! I highly recommend this book! Congrats Ty on hitting your first book out of the park! I cannot wait till the next one!
What a great book! It has been a long time since I have had a book keep me on the edge! I found I couldn't put it down. If you are a Jack Reacher fan then this book is for you. It's good to know there are still authors out there who appeal to the Warrior in all of us! Ty is a great author and I look forward to the sequel!!

A cracking book. I thoroughly enjoyed The Warrior. Much was made of it's genre similarities to the Reacher series and, whilst this is the case to some extent - and you could argue a case for it being a cross of Reacher and Victor the Assassin - the book more than stands on is own two feet.

Excellent: If you are a fan of Lee Child's Jack Reacher books as I am, do yourself a favor and get a copy of "The Warrior." You won't be disappointed.

Gripping Read: Gripping from the very beginning. Fast paced and will draw you in. A true action and suspense novel! Would love to see a spin off of any of the colorful characters in this book. Broker for one, or see Rory later in life! Loved it, and the opening to The Reluctant Warrior looks to be equally thrilling!

Awesome Thriller: IĆ¢€™m not much on reading thriller books but Patterson drew me in. It is well thought out, constructed, and keeps you intrigued to know what will happen.

Fast paced/Cool lead: I don't normally read thrillers, but I was gifted a copy of The Warrior by Ty Patterson and I like to try new things, so I went for it. Glad I did.

A fast paced thriller: This novel is fast-paced, with a great cast of characters. The action-packed story kept me interested until the very end. I would definitely recommend this book to others, especially those who love action and adventure. Looking forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.

A sharply crafted thriller: I enjoyed how the author delved into the thoughts of his main characters. This book was a brisk read, but packed a wallop of a climax. Regardless of whether or not mystery thrillers are your cup of tea, I think you should check 'The Warrior' out.

He took to writing at an early age - writing pieces of humor and fiction, some of which are yet to see the light of day and others that got published in journals that are now deader than the T-Rex.

Ty started writing The Warrior on a challenge by his better half and son. The Warrior is now the first in a thriller series - a series that fundamentally is about friendship, loyalty, and invisible things that make a man.

Ty is privileged that his wife and son shape their lives to accommodate his writing. They also humor his ridiculous belief that he is in charge.

In his spare time, Ty plays tennis and badminton, badly. If you need a playing partner whose butt you want to whip, Ty is your man.
