Cleaver Square (A DCI Morton Crime Novel Book 2), by Sean Campbell. (Still 0.99?)
"I couldn't put the Kindle down! I love a good crime novel and this delivers in spades. I really appreciated the clever plotting in the Campbell brother's previous novel 'Dead on Demand' and this is a sequel/spin-off that doesn't disappoint.
We meet Detective Chief Inspector David Morton again and this time, he has to find the killer of a boy that has been found on Hackney Marshes whilst also being the victim of identity fraud and and annoyed wife in the process.
This is a tightly written and clever plot and is a real page turner. There is a lot of interesting detail as well and we see the criminal justice process in action; it is clear that a lot of research has been done to ensure an authentic feel to the story. However, the pace was also good and the action was at just the right level to keep me hooked. I hope we see more of DCI Morton as he is a great detective and I'd love to see this as a TV program as I think it would work really well. More please!" -- Amazon Reviewer

Skip: An Epic Fairy Tale Fantasy Adventure Series (Book 1), by Perrin Briar. (Still free?)
"As with previous books I've read by Perrin Briar, I was blown away with 'Skip'. The storyline is intriguing. I couldn't put this story down. I enjoyed how it played out. The characters were great. I can't wait to read more of Jera and Elian's adventures. I look forward to the rest of this series. Recommended." -- Amazon Reviewer

Still Life With Murder (Nell Sweeney Mystery Series Book 1), by P.B. Ryan. (Still free?)
"Still Life with Murder by P.B. Ryan is an amazing mystery. The characters of William Hewitt and Nell Sweeney leap off the page. Boston governess Nell is drawn into the underworld after presumed dead William Hewitt is arrested for the murder of a street thug. Long hidden secrets are revealed, including some of Nell's own. Ryan is a master at writing dialogue; it's rare that a author writes characters with such flair. The chemistry between William and Nell practically ignites the pages. The mystery itself is handled well with excellent pacing, and I was surprised at the depth of darkness within William, which only makes him more fascinating. I can't wait to read the next in the series." -- Amazon Reviewer

Starstruck, by Brenda Hiatt. (Still free?)
"Starstruck features a bookish, unpopular and clumsy high-school heroine, Marsha (M to her friends). Rather than being a cliched YA character with a weak personality, M has a lot of self confidence, but even she is surprised when the new star quarterback at her school takes an interest in her and not only because she pronounces his name correctly. Rigel has a secret and he knows something about M too. When M learns the truth about her mysterious birth parents, her world turns upside down in the best possible way. The plot kept me guessing and the characters were so engaging, I had a hard time putting the book down. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a bit of shopping to do for book 2." -- Amazon Reviewer
