Free and bargain Kindle books! (Sunday Sept 20)
Murder In School (Detective Inspector Skelgill Investigates Book 2), by Bruce Beckham. (Still free?)
"I really like the way Beckham writes. The style is pretty sophisticated and there are very few editing errors. The humor is light-handed, and the information about the Lake District, fishing, hiking, and food very interesting. I am almost finished with the third book, and I will miss Inspector Skelgill very much. The characters are professional and interesting and the plots complex enough to be both satisfying and unique." -- Amazon Reviewer

Ride to Redemption (Ride Series Book 1), by DJ Wilson. (Still 0.99?)
"The storyline sounded interesting for me, travel, action and adventure, maybe a bit of romance...So much more happens that alter the outcome as you could foresee it happening. Glad there will be more of this to read in the next book... Can't wait for more of a ride where it ended off. With the detailed descriptions I feel as if we are riding along with D." -- Amazon Reviewer
282 pages, with a 4.2-star rating from 30 reviews.
The Stonegate Sword, by Harry James Fox. (Still 1.99?)
"The Stonegate Sword is not my typical reading genre. However, Fox’s surrealist, Christian-oriented thriller not only kept my attention, but piqued my interest throughout. This worthwhile read was difficult to put down as Fox thoroughly described each character and setting, which had the uncanny ability to encapsulate the reader in each scene. The author’s carefully-crafted writing is an underpriced treasure in a sea of independent author works. Without giving too much away, the characters’ remarkable journey will lead you to a satisfying end. Fox is an excitingly compelling author, and I look forward to reading more of his works in the future." -- Amazon Reviewer
502 pages, with a 4.5-star rating from 23 reviews.
JACK KNIFED, by Christopher Greyson. (Still 2.99?)
"Greyson packs a punch with this heart rending mystery thriller that as much as anything is about life in a world gone mad. I appreciate the complexity of the mystery as well as the strength of the characters. I will be reading more of this authors books." -- Amazon Reviewer
